Why you need to see Over Atlantic live in 2018

We have just seen pop band, Over Atlantic, in Birmingham’s infamous O2 Academy. They joined Bars and Melody to kick off their UK and Ireland tour.

• 11th February, ABC2, Glasgow, UK
• 13th February, Academy 2, Manchester, UK
• 14th February, Old Fire Station, Bournemouth, UK
• 15th February, Y Plas, Cardiff, UK
• 16th February, Academy, Dublin, Ireland
• 17th February, Oh Yeah, Belfast, UK

Over Atlantic are a 5-piece band with members originating from England, Sweden, and America. The band consists of Charlie Jones, Trevor Cash, Liam Ross, Sean Killeen, and Gabriel Gomer. Each member plays an instrument and really bring a feel-good vibe to the stage. Their charm and charisma send a crowd of screaming girls (and boys!) crazy each and every single time they play a show.

Their whole stage presence throughout their Birmingham set was mesmerising; from the bands stage to the crowd reaction. We could tell just by watching the crowd they were enjoying it as much as the band were; they knew the words to every song. Some of the families who took their children to see Bars and Melody were left smiling and dancing around during their set. We think it is safe to say they have new fans after the opening night of tour. With what, we anticipate, will be many more great shows throughout the rest of the tour.

The band are lucky enough to have fans that attend every show they appear at all over the UK. Not only does this show the dedication of their fans, but how much talent the band has to have fans who are helping them climb their way to the top. It was only recently that Over Atlantic managed to sell out their first headline show of 2018 out in five minutes.

The year has only just started but Over Atlantic are kicking it off in style. Don’t miss out on seeing them live this year; we definitely won’t.

You can catch them right now on Bars and Melody’s UK and Ireland tour.
