A HEAVILY tattooed former Bandidos Motorcycle Club president who calls himself “Infamous” is being roasted trying a little too hard to impress his mates.
After breaking up with his fiancee earlier this year, Brett “Kaos” Pechey has been peppering his social media pages with his latest luxury purchases.
His 5905 followers on Instagram have been shown pictures and stories which show off his buys, which have recently included boxes emblazoned with Gucci and Louis Vuitton logos.
Last week, the former bikie living in Perth was at it again, when he uploaded an image showing a receipt for the purchase of a $160,000 Range Rover Sport.
“New Car feels,” he wrote alongside the picture with middle-finger and winky-face emojis.
“Got to spoil yourself from time to time,” he wrote alongside pictures of boxes marked with elite fashion brand labels shortly before.
However, one of his Instagram posts — which he has now deleted — has prompted a mass roasting on social media after someone discovered where the picture really came from.
A reverse image search of Mr Pechey’s picture of five Louis Vuitton bags — supposedly stacked up in his home — shows it has actually been taken from Google Images.
When news.com.au reverse searched the picture, it showed up on a Pinterest page from a discount fashion buyer called Pursemode Seller.
Once the Google Images picture began to circulate, it was picked up by comedy page Flop Hunting, and it has triggered a wave of comments.
“How embarrassing!” wrote one commenter.
“What a flop,” wrote another.
Mr Pechey broke up with his heavily tattooed fiancee, Rikki-Louise Jones, after just a few months of engagement.
In April, she posted a picture of herself at the gym with the words, “When you know you have a wedding dress to look for … may the waist be getting smaller & the booty be getting bigger”.
It came soon after an apparent falling out between Ms Jones and her Instagram star sister Allaina Diana Jones, who goes by the Instagram name of Allaina Vader.
Ms Vader dated former Hells Angels bikie Ben “Notorious” Geppert.
The news of Pechey’s proposal, which was greeted with congratulatory wishes from several of Ms Jones’ 33,7000 followers, came amid legal turmoil for Pechey.
Pechey faces charges including assaulting police, wilful damage and public nuisance.
In April, Pechey was allegedly involved in a three-hour standoff involving 26 police. He allegedly barricaded himself in Ms Jones’ Gold Coast home armed with swords and threatened to stab officers “if they didn’t shoot him”.
He was granted bail by Southport Magistrates Court after facing charges of assaulting police, wilful damage and public nuisance and will appear again at a later date.
