General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) recently threw a “COVID quarantine birthday party” for herself. Since the GH cast and crew are stuck at home instead of at the studio, Grahn decided to invite the gang over for a drive-by B-day bash. Many General Hospital stars showed up for a little parade of cars outside Grahn’s home (Was Ingo Rademacher there?).

Grahn held this Instagram Live event to promote and raise money for Meals on Wheels. She wanted to help those in need during this difficult time, so it’s sweet that Grahn was thinking of others on her birthday. Of course, Grahn’s party also gave fans a chance to catch a glimpse of their favorite soap actors.

Once Grahn answered a few questions as part of the live chat, she did some “drive-by guest starring performances.” Even Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine) showed up – and Grahn pointed out that “she doesn’t come out for anyone!”

Grahn felt honored that Elliot and several other familiar faces were willing to join her for this celebration. She offered up toilet paper as a party favor, so Grahn really went all out. Genie Francis (Laura Wright) was part of the festivities, and she had an important question when she pulled up – one that plenty of GH viewers are wondering, too.

“When do you think we’re gonna go back to work?” Francis asked. “I don’t know,” Grahn admitted. “I talked to Frank [Valentini, General Hospital Executive Producer] yesterday, and he has no answers. He called about something else, but he has no answers regarding that. I don’t know. I don’t see it at all before July…”

Francis’ husband, Jonathan Frakes, guessed that the first Monday after the Fourth of July was about the best they could hope for, but none of them had any kind of confirmation.

Grahn talked about the challenges that actors in particular face since they’re in such close contact. “Everyone else can social distance,” but that’s tough for actors trying to bring stories to life in Port Charles.

It was nice to hear some updates on when the show might resume production – even if no one can be certain yet. It was also great to see the stars come out to support Grahn on her birthday and raise awareness for Meals on Wheels!
