Conor Maynard is no stranger to mash-ups of songs, but his latest cover of Drake’s ‘Controlla’ blew us away!
The cover saw his YouTuber brother Jack pick R’n’B hits for the singer to cover while sticking to the ‘Controlla’ beat.
The medley features some throwbacks including R.Kelly’s ‘Ignition’, Mario’s ‘Let Me Love You’ and Craig David’s ‘7 Days’.
Since going live only yesterday, it has gathered over 300,000 views, proving to be another popular cover.
Conor stated that he is uploading on YouTube to not lose touch with fans while recording his sophomore album. He told fans on a Facebook livestream that he hopes to release the album late 2016.
We’re so excited to hear more brand new music from Conor in the future but are totally content with these incredible covers for now.
