Bruce Brown shows up for Indiana Pacers debut in extraordinary, random fit

Bruce Brown was one of the Denver Nuggets' unsung heroes during their NBA Championship run in 2023. He contributed heavily on both sides of the court, providing a key spark off the bench throughout the postseason.

After just one season, the Nuggets decided to let Brown go in free agency as he sought a bigger contract. The Indiana Pacers obliged, giving him a two-year, $45 million contract. With that kind of money invested in him, Brown is in the starting lineup for opening night.

Bruce Brown, outfit extraordinaire

But before Brown could take the court, he arrived at the Pacers' stadium in an outfit that left many in awe.

Many were flabbergasted by the entire fit. From the cowboy hat to the mustard-colored overalls to the cowboy boots without pants. There's a lot going on.

Some wondered if Brown really thinks people in Indiana dress like that. No one is really sure what was going through Brown's mind when he dressed up, but he has certainly gotten everyone talking before the Pacers' opening game.

Brown is starting alongside Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin and Myles Turner. In the final preseason game for the Pacers, Toppin put on a dunking clinic that got the home crowd excited.

Now, the revamped team has a chance to make some noise starting with their first game against the Washington Wizards.
